Biography is about who I am... and who I am is all about relationships: This is the entire immediate family, along with our associate pastor, Tim, and his wife, Kelly (below).


My current experience as a fellow-traveler in the faith community known as First Presbyterian Church of Brandon, (FL) is another crucial element of my identity.

Other relevant details include my work as a freelance writer, newspaper columnist, and author; My history as a school teacher; and my journey to becoming an American. But I'll detail those areas in other places.

Life is good. It's about living in partnership with my wife, Rebekah, about serving God in the context of our church home, about being the parent of two amazing children (and a very cool son-in-law), and of both honing and using my particular gifts in order to make this world a better place.

For recreation, you'll find me reading, walking Rebekah's huge labradoodle puppy, playing guitar, playing with photography, cooking, relaxing with my family, attempting golf, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
